Biography

Katie Marie is a singer, songwriter born April 7th 1993 in Los Angeles. Raised in the San Fernando Valley, music has been her life since she was 4 years old. Growing up singing in choirs and performing in plays in elementary school, she developed a strong passion for music. She was chosen to sing "God Bless America" in a choir festival and stole the show. It was obvious that she was meant to be a singer, and her stage presence was, and is, far beyond her young age of 16.
Katie's Musical influences range from, Kelly Clarkson, Paramore, Pink, and Carrie Underwood. She has a fresh, new sound that developed from listening to a diverse range of music that incorporates soul, rock, pop, and country. Katie has performed as a featured vocalist at venues such as The Knitting Factory, King King, Madrid Theatre, and The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center. Her hope is to have music in her life forever and doesn't plan on giving up on her dream of being an accomplished singer anytime soon.
