GreenStock Productions Presents
 ROCK the TOYBOX IX

Sat. December 20th
A benefit in conjunction with The US Marine Corps, Toys For Tots!!

GreenStock Productions is known for their involvement in the Los Angeles community with charity events revolving around Live Music and ‘rockstars’. Such as the annual All Access Magazine Music awards Show, “The Bunny Hop” for The Childrens Hospital Of Los Angeles, fundraisers like “Unleash the Fury,” and the hurricane Katrina benefit!.
The “Rock the Toy Box IX ” a benefit for Toys For Tots has been a “HUGE” success, thanks to all of YOU and your generosity through the years! This annual event produced by GreenStock Productions (Debra Stocker & John Green) started nine years ago at a little bar called McReds. Debra booked 5 bands there 1 night a month and thought how great it would be to do a special Christmas event in conjunction with Toys For Tots. Rock The Toy Box now, “NINE” year’s later has become a “HUGE” event, growing bigger and bigger every year! It’s a GREAT cause, says many of LA’s groups/artist that join us every year. All donating their time to raise “Toys For Tots” through their music! It’s so rewarding to know you helped put a smile on a child’s face come Christmas morning!

And now with “No Strings Attached,” GreenStock Productions welcomes Stu Simone, “The Keytarist”, as this years Master Of Ceremonies for Rock The ToyBox IX!

Stu Simone has been one of Los Angeles’ top rock performers since, believe it or not, the eighties, when he headlined The Country Club, Palace, Whiskey Roxy and Troubadour as a member of L.A.Rocks , Magic Torie Tyson and Rings Of Saturn.  Since then Stu Simone has performed at practically every venue in Southern California, from headlining the Unviersal Amphitheatre to playing covers at the local dive bar and even at a bowling alley or two!  He’s also played every major venue in Las Vegas, and has performed live in every state in the Unions except Alaska and Maine.  He’s worked with many great singers over the years, including singers for Foreigner, Survivor, Bullet Boys, Sweet and Ratt, and has also been well known as “the Keytarist”, with his website KeytarMusic.com and the CD “Keytar: No Strings Attached.”  If you want to hear Eddie Van Halen and Jimi Hendrix played on the keyboard, that’s the album to check out!

In 1999, when Poison decided to re-unite with their original infamous lineup, Stu got the call to flesh out their sound with vocals, keyboard and guitar parts, and can be hear on Poison’s 2000 live album, “Power To the People.”  Stu performed to over a half million rabid rock fans in 1999 and 2000 on POISON’s triumphant headlining tours, including two 40,000 person rock festivals headlining over the likes of Sammy Hagar and the Doobie Brothers.

Since then, Stu has played in original bands including Robin McAuley (MSG, Survivor) and Heaven and Earth, but has spent most of his time in the tribute band scene with his 80s Hairband Tribute HAir Guitar and the Journey tribute Escape, as well as being a “first-call tribute band keyboard sub” for bands such as Bad Medicine, Lights, La Grange, Infinity, Southern Voodoo, and Evolution.  It helps that he can read music and charts, sing harmonies on the spot,  plays guitar and harmonica as well as keyboards, and can perform 90 minute tribute shows with no rehearsal.

Right now you can hear him sing the vocal track to Quiet Riot’s “Cum On Feel Tha Noize” in the latest Guitar Hero video game, and if you don’t blink, you’ll see him in the new blockbuster movie “Four Christmases” playing Dwight Yoakum’s church band leader..

November 10th, 2008 by admin

Letter from the Editor, Vol 6-19

The holidays are upon us, and All Access Magazine would like to wish all of you and yours a Happy, Happy Thanksgiving. We truly do have so much to give thanks for, even in such crazy times as we find ourselves in these days.

As AAM enters into its seventh year, we look back and know we couldn’t have done it without all of your support! THANK YOU making us your choice for the best in music and entertainment news! And for adding us to your “Top Favorites” and becoming one of our 70,000 worldwide daily readers!

Remember that we are always looking for new talent. So if you know an artist/group or have seen a show, event or even a DVD that you want to share with the world, we want to know too. Write about it here: http://www.allaccessmagazine.com/reviews.html or email us at ALLACCESSMGZN@AOL.COM. If you send photos, please include photo credits too.

If you prefer to mail your own CDs and/or promotional material in, cool! We’ll keep the reviews going on our end. Mail them to All Access Magazine, 15981 Yarnell Street, Ste. 122, Rancho Cascades, CA 91342, Attn: CD reviews. Please send 2 copies if you can.

TOYS FOR TOTS: This year marks our 9th annual toy drive in connection with the U.S. Marines’ Toys For Tots program. Our event, Rock The ToyBox, will take place this year and AAM will have more information for you on it soon. Remember “Every Child Deserves a Little Christmas“! Even if you can’t make it by our event in person, you can always drop off a toy or mail it to our office, 15981 Yarnell Street, Ste. 122, Rancho Cascades, CA 91242, and we’ll make sure to include it with all the toys going to the U.S. Marines Toys For Tots.

We have received a ton of emails and phone calls wondering about our Annual AAM Music Awards Show this year. By now I am sure you have guessed we have chosen to pass on it this year, sorry. We made this decision for many reasons, BUT none that have anything to do with the show itself, its sponsors or L.A.’s amazingly talented musicians. We’ll be back next year, bigger and better and full of surprises!

Check out “Center Stage,” our NEW Editor’s Blog: NEW BLOG. We’ll help get the word out about your new CD, DVD release, tour, or signing!

Thanks again for making All Access Magazine your choice for the best in music and entertainment news. Have a safe and wonderful holiday, and from our family to yours, Happy, Happy Thanksgiving!

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR Vol. 6-17

October 14th, 2008 by admin

LETTER FROM THE EDITOR

All Access Magazine would like to say “Thanks!” to everyone who called, e-mailed, and texted us about the Sylmar fire here in the Los Angeles area. AAM is doing fine now, and we didn’t have to evacuate (unlike some of our close friends, family, and neighbors). Your sincere thoughtfulness was very much appreciated, and we thank you for all your wonderful offers to help and assist us in any way you could. It was comforting to know we were NOT alone.

We all have ALL seen disasters like this for years on TV, or read about them in the newspaper. But until YOU are truly faced with one, it’s easy to stand back and say what you would do. Have you ever really thought about it, truly? If all you had was a few minutes to grab what you could from a house you had spent most of your life in, what would you take? And remember, you only have minutes to decide!

That’s what happened to all those people who lost their homes yesterday in the fires near Los Angeles. Many of them are homeless today because they have NOWHERE. Some escaped ONLY with the clothes on their backs after being woken up at 3 a.m. and being told to “GET OUT NOW!” Our prayers go out to the families who suffered ANY loss during these fires.

Please, please, remember that if you lost sight of your lil’ furry friends, or maybe they got scared and ran off, first check around your area: under houses, inside sheds, maybe they’re hiding in a garage. The winds may have slammed the door shut and they could be stuck inside!

You can check online at the Animal Shelters: http://www.laanimalservices.com/findapet_eval.htm

Sylmar Fire animals will be brought here: EAST VALLEY SHELTER          14409 Vanowen St, Van Nuys CA 91405

One more piece of NEWS!

AAM will be working EXTRA hard this year with the U.S. Marines on Rock the Toy Box IX, our annual Toys For Tots benefit!

In today’s economy where it’s hard enough to just put food on the table, buying presents, especially toys, is hard to fathom for many people.

The US Marine Corps believes that
“Every Child Deserves A Little Christmas”

Please join All Access Magazine at Paladino’s

Saturday, December 20th, 2008
to send the needy children of our community a message of hope this

holiday season.

Rock The Toy Box IX, a Toys For Tots Benefit

Produced by GreenStock Productions

in conjunction with the U.S. Marines.

Sponsored by All Access Magazine.

Hosted by Paladino’s:

This event is 21 and over. FREE parking for your reindeer! Doors open at 7 p.m.

Admission is 1 NEW unwrapped toy valued at $10.00 or more, or $10.00.

Please help make this year’s Rock The Toy Box the biggest one ever,

as there will be even more lil’ boys and girls who hope and pray

Santa doesn’t leave them off his list this year.

AAM A Proud Sponsor Of the 25th Anniversary LOVE RUN

September 27th, 2008 by admin

What Do You Get When You Add Leather, Lace, 25,000 motorcycles and Rock n’ Roll?

Answer: HOT babes, and the largest annual LOVE RIDE ever!

All Access Magazine strongly supports local and national talent in and around Southern California, and we are pleased to announce that we are a proud official supporter of this year’s 25th anniversary LOVE RIDE. This year’s motto is: “Improving the quality of life for those less fortunate.” The annual Love Ride combines 3 of AAM’s passions: music, motorcycles, and raising money for those in need.

As the Love Ride’s web site tells it, “The world famous LOVE RIDE, the largest 1-day motorcycle fundraising event, will be bigger and more spectacular than ever this year as it celebrates the Silver Anniversary LOVE RIDE 25, slated for Sunday, October 26, 2008. The ride is always capped with a star-studded concert, which this year kicks things into the highest possible gear with a bill co-headlined by Rock and Roll Hall of Famers ZZ Top and alt-rock icons Foo Fighters, 2007 GRAMMY® winners for Best Rock Album. The concert, expected to draw a capacity crowd, will start at 12 Noon at the Fairplex in Pomona, CA, where the crowd will also partake in a barbecue lunch, motorcycle trade show and vendor village, stunts, award ceremonies and more…. LOVE RIDE 25 is the centerpiece of California Bike Week (CBW), the state’s premiere motorcycle event (Oct. 24-26).”

All Access Magazine is a music and entertainment magazine known for its involvement in the Los Angeles community with organizing and/or sponsoring charity events revolving around live music and “rock stars” such as their annual U.S. Marine Corps Toys For Tots benefit “Rock the Toy Box,” “The Bunny Hop” benefit for The Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles, fundraisers like “Unleash the Fury,” a Hurricane Katrina victims benefit concert, and of course the All Access Magazine Music Awards Show!

In addition to being music lovers, AAM’s owners Debra Stocker and John Green are also motorcycle enthusiasts who have been riding Harleys and participating in nearly every Love Ride for the past 25 years. They are thrilled to add AAM to the Love Ride’s long list of “Friends.”

Many celebrities donate their time and energy to help and to ride in the Love Ride, such as Jay Leno, who will preside as Grand Marshall for the 25th time. Over the years the Love Ride has raised over $20,000,000 for multiple charities. This year’s beneficiaries include the MDA - Muscular Dystrophy Association, Reading By 9, Providence Saint Joseph Foundation, Special Olympics of Southern California, Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles, Autism Speaks, Frostig Center, Scleroderma Research Foundation, Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters, Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services, Glendale Community College, Diabetics Institute, The Friends of Castaic Lake, and the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.

On Sunday, October 26th, riders will meet at Harley-Davidson of Glendale at 9 a.m., and ride to the Pomona Fairplex for the concert, BBQ, and many other events. Advance registration is highly recommended and starts at a $70 donation per rider in advance, and includes a Love Ride 25th Anniversary pin and patch, the BBQ, and all events at the Pomona Fairplex. On-site registration the weekend of the event starts at $75. Incentives for higher donations include bandanas, ball caps, and Love Ride jackets. Sign up online through http://www.loveride.org or http://www.ticketmaster.com, or ride on down to Harley-Davidson/Buell of Glendale at 3717 San Fernando Road, Glendale, CA, 91204, 818-246-5618 x127, where you can also purchase this year’s Love Ride t-shirts in advance.

What was that? You said you don’t have a Harley? Don’t worry: All makes and models of motorcycles are welcome. If you plan several months in advance, you can even rent a Harley for the weekend. Or drive directly to the Fairplex and just enjoy the festivities!

For more information, go to http://www.allaccessmagazine.com or http://www.loveride.org. Horns up and we’ll see you there!
