Southern California’s based STONEBREED performed their first headline show at the Canyon Club at Agoura Hills on November 20 for live and unsigned bands. The band has been performing all over Southern California for over three years opening for major Rock and Metal bands such as” Lita Ford, MSG,KIX, KEEL, RATT, Cinderella and Y&T. The show was free and with food donations. The band was energizing from the playing songs from their debut album, opening with, “Back Home” which is appropriated since they have been performing at music festivals at Illinois and Colorado this year. For this show included a new song “Tonight” and also played Credence Clear Water’s “Fortunate Song” and Elton John’s “Saturday Night’s Alright (For Fighting)”. Founder Carlos Cruz always energized and interactive with the audience and the current lineup: Brandon Paul and Troy Elizondo on Guitar, Johnny Zell on Bass and Orion Rainz on drums give fresh sound to the songs.
For the song “Whiskey Well”, Carlos brought glasses of the spirit on stage to share with the audience who wanted a drink and helped to pour it into the audience mouths.
Though set was about an hour they could have played longer. For those who see them perform, they always give it their all. They should headline more local shows. For the first timers at other States, the message from them is to return. They are getting inquiries to do shows away from Southern California to perform at other States at their local venues and to travel to other countries.
There were three other diverse bands on the bill that were Art Rockers, Delta Rose Delta Rose is a young energetic Rock n Blues and Good Deeds. All gave their own sound and are performing around Southern California.
