Within Temptation and Amaranthe at Club NokiaThe last time symphonic metal band Within Temptation performed across North America was seven years ago and last year Amaranthe headlined their first North America tour. Tonight was the second show of their North America tour to a packed venue. Within Temptation’s first North America tour was seven years ago. Tonight’s show from WT had a humorous moment at the beginning for the show, after a short intro of a dragon movie then the piano player’s intro though the rest of the band were not ready to come on to the stage. And they re-started the beginning of the show and just kept going with total of seventeen songs that included three encores.

Other songs from the new album that have vocal tracks are: “Dangerous” with Howard Jones and “An We Run” with Xzibit on the video screen. They wanted to perform those songs as they are on the album The other songs performed are: Lana Del Rey’s, “Summetime Sadness”, “Faster”, “Let Us Burn”, “ In The Middle Of The Night”, “Our Solem Hour”,” What Have Done” with vocal track with Keith Caputo”, “Mother Earth” a acoustic version of “Sinead” and the last song of the night was “Ice Queen”. Those are: “Drop Dead Cynical”, “Digital World”, and “Massive Addictive”. Other songs performed: “Amaranthine”, “Hunger”, “Invicible” “Afterlife”.

Over all Within Temptation fans have been waiting many years for them to return to North America and they didn’t disappoint and hope they keep coming back often with their quality music and to keep recording it. They will be headlining shows starting the end of October and hope they will perform much of North America as possible this year with more songs from their new album.
