On March 16th from noon to 6PM at The Longbranch Inn (1133 East 11th Street, Austin, TX), Century Media Records, CVLT Nation, and Stumptown Coffee Roasters will present a free party held during the annual SXSW music festival, featuring the legendary ANDREW W.K., black metallers NACHTMYSTIUM, psychedelic sludge THE ATLAS MOTH, multi-talented BRUCE LAMONT, blackened crust warriors YOUNG AND IN THE WAY, ambient crustcorers VESTIGES, and evil punk/hardcore band ENABLER!
Additionally, Mike IX, the host of this special event, will also read passages from his latest book, Cancer as a Social Activity . Read on for more details about each of the performers and sponsors: ANDREW W.K.: Marking the 10th Anniversary of his landmark album, I Get Wet, ANDREW W.K. and his band will be performing the album in its entirety at this event. NACHTMYSTIUM: As a follow-up to 2010′s Addicts: Black Meddle, Part II, the band will begin recording their next album with keyboardist/producer Sanford Parker this week. THE ATLAS MOTH: The band is still supporting their critically acclaimed album, An Ache for the Distance. BRUCE LAMONT: YAKUZA/BLOODIEST/CIRCLE OF ANIMALS leader will perform a solo set at this event. YOUNG AND IN THE WAY: Two of the band’s albums, I Am Not What I Am and Amen, were recently re-released on A389 Records.
