WeezerMusic, Food and Crowd Sizzle in Austin

The barbeque wasn’t the only thing sizzling in Austin, Texas as temperatures climbed to over 100 degrees as a tightly packed crowd recently welcomed Weezer to the outdoor stage at Stubb’s for a two-night stint. Both nights the venue was filled to capacity as devoted fans enjoyed two different shows.

The first night, front man Rivers Cuomo and the band performed crowd favorites as well as the entire debut album, Blue. On the second night, the band once again performed favorites before presenting the cult favorite album, Pinkerton.

The band and Cuomo seemed to be more relaxed for the second show, engaging the crowd in their antics including Cuomo climbing to the corrugated tin roof of an adjacent storage building to perform his opening numbers.
