Nostalgia filled the night as legends filled the stage at ACL-Live
Celebrating 40 years as music titans, Earth, Wind and Fire brought their Anniversary Tour to Austin, Texas on June 11. The legendary group of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members entertained the crowd at Austin City Limits Live at the Moody Theater with their superb vocals and impressive musicianship.

Three original members of the group, singers Philip Bailey and Ralph Johnson, and bassist Verdine White, fronted the nine-piece band which also includes Bailey’s son on vocals and percussion. While the funk/soul/blues tunes resonated with the boomer members of the crowd, ballads also found a special place on the night. The band played for just short of two hours thrilling the crowd with a set list which included “Boogie Wonderland,” “Devotion,” “Sing a Song,” “After the Love Has Gone,” “Jupiter,” and a cover of the Beatles “Got to Get You into My Life.”
