Janet Jackson’s “Number Ones: Up Close and Personal Tour” has been drawing sell-out crowds all across North America and Austin, Texas was no exception. On April 3, Ms. Jackson brought to the stage at Austin City Limits – Live, a 90 minute showcase of number one hits including “The Pleasure Principle,” a medley of “Control, “What Have You Done for Me Lately” and “Feedback” and the crowd-thriller “Nasty.” “Let’s Wait A While” turned into a crowd supported sing-a-long.

Ms. Jackson was joined on stage by a small group of dancers all wearing matching black jeans, boots and tank tops and a seven piece band, all wearing white. Janet and her dancers performed more extensive choreography to a medley of songs including: “Doesn’t Really Matter,” “Escapade,” and “Love Will Never Do (Without You).”
Ms. Jackson, a cultural icon who released her first album at age 12 and is known as a hard-dancing pop princess, turns 45 this year, but is still thrilling audiences today.
