for worldwide distribution on August 24, 2010. According to Director Joel Gilbert:
In the summer of 2005, a package arrived at the Hollywood offices of Highway 61 Entertainment from London with no return address. Inside were two mini-cassette audio tapes dated December 30, 1999 and labeled THE LAST TESTAMENT OF GEORGE HARRISON. A voice identical to Harrison tells a shocking story: Paul McCartney was killed in a car crash in November of 1966 and replaced with a double! British intelligence, MI5, had forced the Beatles to cover up McCartney’s death to prevent mass suicides of Beatle fans. However, the remaining Beatles tried to signal fans with clues on album covers and in songs.
Until now, the “Paul is Dead” mystery that exploded worldwide in 1969 was considered a hoax. However, in this film, George Harrison reveals a secret Beatles history, chronicling McCartney’s fatal accident, the cover up, dozens of unknown clues, and a dangerous cat and mouse game with “Maxwell,” the Beatles’ MI5 handler, as John Lennon became increasingly reckless with the secret. Harrison also insists that Lennon was assassinated in 1980 after he threatened to finally expose “Paul McCartney” as an imposter!

I had a watch of this movie in the hopes of learning all the information concerning the conspiracy clues. I was very disappointed to find that the producers hadn’t really attempted to do their homework first. You can get a more accurate version of the conspiracy from a simple Google search. The whole movie was clearly written and produced by people who haven’t got a clue on The Beatles history or timeline. Everything was based on American record releases, ignoring facts that some songs were actually written before the alleged date of the alleged fatal accident. But the real give-away was when fake George, who I shall refer to as Feorge, tells us that Rita the Hitch-hiker who caused Paul to crash his car was given a new identity and a big payout to remain quiet, only to turn up years later as Heather Mills. The reason Heather had lost her leg was because the powers that be, in an attempt to keep her quiet, tried to have her killed by running her over in traffic, apparently by the same powers that be that organised John Lennon’s assassination. But what Feorge fails to mention is that Rita accidentally caused Paul’s death, a good two years before Heather Mills was even born. Towards the end of the film there were some very obviously photo-shopped images of Faul with a very enlarged nose and buck teeth, and some video footage of Harrison being interviewed on Australian television, clearly saying Faul (Fake Paul)instead of Paul. Youtube has the unedited version of this interview and in real life Harrison has a most distinctively pronounced P for every mention of Paul’s name. Had this been a documentary on the hoax, and one that stuck to the theory as it had stood this would have been an enjoyable discussion of the conspiracy theories. Marketed as Harrison’s last testament, and very badly narrated by someone who was so obviously reading a script, it’s not even a good hoax in its own right.
I also bought this DVD after listening to Joel Gilbert on the Jerry Doyle Show. I thought they just took everything they could find off YouTube. The “voice” of George Harrison, it seemed to me, kept going “in and out” of character. And when he got to the part that Heather Mills was “Rita” that’s when it was totally preposterous. That would have made her my age or older, and I’m 54. Joel Gilbert, you should have known better. To not totally authenticate the voice was your first and major mistake. I was extremely disappointed. There were other mistakes too, like “George” saying that the “Let it be” album was recorded AFTER Sergeant Peppers. I thought everybody knew that was wrong. I would think that “George” would have known that, since he was there…
Oh, one more thing. I believe that George Harrison would have known how to spell “testament”. Look at the pictures of the cassettes. It is spelled “testiment” – unless of course the Brits spell it differently.
Of course it is partially true….Paul has been musically dead for decades.
How they manipulate time i have no idea But to me Heather Mills age could be much older than she is… Everyone of the Beatles in my opinion was born to bring Mi5′s mind control program (lsd) to u.s. A beetle is a beatle in music. They put their seeds in to balls of dung (rolling stones) and push them across the sand like god’s sun travels the sky
as george says that only the three beatles and pauls parents were at the funeral in 1966.
Pauls mother died in 1956 so how can that be true???
I could tell immediately that the narrator wasn’t George, I think the man that did the voice over for George on Yellow Submarine did a better job! Still in all I thought it was fairly well made, it held my interest and made think. A must for Beatles fan’s whether you buy into the conspiracy theory or not.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt, a complete artistic impersonation of make believe. There are those of us that know, when the truth is spoken, regardless of content, complete deception is in the heart. Quite frankly, truth has a characteristic that sets the soul free. Paul is very much alive and living today.
The most pronounced thing is that if George was stabbed in the chest his voice appears to be too strong and no hint of problems. He would be in pain when he spoke. There’s also no ambient noise from the hospital room. Even cleaned up there would be some minor issues – it sounded too professional. This movie is a fraud and the people who made it are the lowest form of documentarians.

what about left handed paul in the early days and the later paul who is righty?
i think whoever is the first to turn this story into a major motion film is f#*king brilliante!unfortunately,this is the stuff that sells:)
If Paul is not the real deal then why has he continued to write such great songs and become a world leader in music? It just doesn’t make sense that he would be able to keep up the facade over those many years.
